MY NAME IS DORY.
I am a comedian, writer, mixologist, and creative producer who has worked in the entertainment and media worlds for 15+ years. I have produced and hosted interviews with high-profile celebrities, such as Ethan Hawke, Shaquille O’Neal, and Cynthia Erivo. As a writer, I’ve worked in show development for Scout Productions, been the head writer for a variety of web series, and do all the research and question composition for all my interviews.
I’ve combined my talents as a host with my passion for all things liquid to create my independent talk show, DRANKIN’ with Dory, which is currently in pre-production for its 3rd season. My on-camera capabilities also come in handy while hosting virtual cocktail making classes for Muddling Memories, a Brooklyn-based hospitality group specializing in beverage experiences.
I have trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater for improv, sketch, and character performance, the Magnet Theater for musical improv, and The People’s Improv Theater for stand-up.
I’m currently available for freelance/contract creative work.
